The Transforming STEM Teaching and Learning Academy provides an opportunity for faculty to learn about evidence-based teaching methods. The Academy is open to full-time faculty of all ranks.

During the fall and spring semesters, academy members meet monthly to engage in professional development, to build a community of practitioners and to reflect on their teaching practice. We provide faculty with tools, time and space to work collaboratively on course transformations.

The culminating event for the Academy is a day-long campus-wide STEM summit. Major goals of the summit are to showcase the course transformations by STEM Academy members and to continue the conversation on improving student learning and success among stakeholders.
